Via Rail Canada

VIA Rail Canada operates the national passenger rail service in Canada. VIA runs year round train services throughout the country, including the famed ‘Canadian’ a 2765 mile rail odyssey between Toronto and Vancouver. The Skeena – probably Canada’s most beautiful rail journey runs from Jasper in the heart of the Rockies to Prince Rupert on the Pacific coast, calling at isolated communities en-route and giving a unique insight into this part of Canada. Alternatively go wild and take a train to the shores of Hudson Bay to view the beluga whales or polar bears.

For city slickers then the rail services between Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City and Niagara Falls to name a few, are a fast, comfortable, cost effective alternative to driving especially when making use of the Corridorpass.

All of these great rail journeys and more are possible using VIA Rail.
