Its seawall, beaches, walking trails, totem poles, aquarium, pool, miniature railway and more attract 8 million visitors each year. Marvel at the spring wildflowers and the migration of the Humpback and Killer whales. Visit in the autumn when the passage is ablaze with autumn foliage, it's perfect place to view gathering of Bald Eagles.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

For thousands of years, the Tlingit Indians have called this place home. Located just 22 miles southeast of Glacier Bay National Park, Icy Strait Point offers travelers the chance to view wildlife like humpback whales, eagles, and brown bears, or to explore monuments to the region’s fishing heritage.

Day 6
Hubbard Glacier (Cruising)

Hubbard Glacier is the largest calving glacier on the North American continent. The glacier routinely calves off icebergs as high as 10-story buildings, sending massive blocks of ice into the sea every few minutes.

Day 7
Juneau, Alaska

Here's your chance to take a glacial dogsled adventure via helicopter in Alaska's capital. A city that gracefully balances frontier ruggedness with cosmopolitan flair. Mendenhall Glacier, a river of ice measuring 1.5 miles in width and over 6 miles in length, is part of Juneau's Icefield, 1500 square miles of ice that feeds 38 glaciers and ready for you to take a float trip on it.

Day 8
Ketchikan, Alaska

You've never tasted salmon so fresh. Known as the 'Salmon Capital of the World', Ketchikan is also the ancestral home of the Tlingit people, who have carved the world's largest collection of totem poles. If you're up for an adventure, take a canoe and nature trail excursion through the rain forest or a wilderness exploration followed by a sumptuous crab feast you can't resist.

This morning collect your hire car and depart Vancouver along the Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler. After a short stroll through this charming alpine resort, resume your journey along Duffey Lake Road through Lollooet, Cache Creek and on into the stunning resort of Sun Peaks and your overnight hotel. Day 13
Jasper

Today follow the Thompson River, view Pyramid Falls, Pass by Mount Robson the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies before arriving into Jasper and your overnight hotel. Overnight in Jasper

Day 14
Jasper

Full day of exploring. Overnight in Jasper

Day 15
Lake Louise

This morning depart on the scenic drive that takes you through the spine of the Canadian Rockies. Along the way you will see such sights as the Columbia Icefield and take an Ice Explorer ride onto the glacier (included). Overnight Lake Louise.

Day 16
Banff

Take the short drive from Lake Louse to Banff and overnight hotel. Overnight in Banff

Day 17
Banff

Full day at leisure to explore Banff and the surrounding area. Take a ride on the Banff Gondola (included). Check out the shops, cafés, nightlife & museums. Overnight in Banff

Day 18
Return to United Kingdom

Depart the Rocky Mountains at your leisure to the Central Plains and on to the ‘Stampede Capital’ Calgary. Return you hire car at Calgary Airport and fly back to the UK.
