The service provided by Laura Robertson at Barrhead Travel Canada Specialists was of a very high degree. Even the change I made to the itinerary were no problem to her.
Hotels: Calgary airport Acclaim hotel was clean and very close to airport.
Caribou Lodge Banff; A high standard food excellent and room very comfortable, the "hot pool" was something else.
Sawridge Inn Jasper: Excellent, although a little out of town was fine for myself. The staff were very helpful and efficient. Food of a high standard.
Rocky Mountaineer: Onboard the staff are first class, helpful informative and cheerful. The train very comfortable although the AC required to be adjusted several times as it became quite cold.HotelFive540Forty, Kamloops comfortable. The second part of the rail journey was much more interesting than the first part. The Rockies are Majestic.
Airport hotel Fairmont Vancouver of a very high standard although the restaurant was disappointing.
The Cruise on NCL Jewel was excellent. Having sailed on the Jewel before I knew what to expect. The ship is very comfortable and clean, the entertainment of a very high standard and the choice of food in the buffet excellent. Shore Excursions: Ketchican, Saxford Native Village, interesting. Juneau: Mushers camp and sled dog ride very interesting although the puppies were very young and sleepy. Skagway: The best fo the three, The mini coach trip to the Yukon. An excellent and very informative driver/guide "Paul". and a very enjoyable trip. "Lunch" was at 10.45 but was very good.
All in all a very worthwhile experience.
