1. Telus World of Science

A perfect day out for all the family, the Telus World of Science is your way to experience science like never before! 2. Fort Edmonton Park

This living history site will transport you back in time to experience life in Edmonton’s humble early years. 3. Elk Island National park

Located around 30 miles outside the city limits, Elk Island National Park is a pristine natural paradise and is an important site for the conservation of bison, moose and deer. Route 99 has a nostalgic air about it, with kitschy décor of street signs, license plates and albums covers from stars from The Beatles to The Rolling Stones. The menu offers something for everyone, specialising in large portions of your favourite comfort food at reasonable prices. Make sure you leave room for one of their classic milkshakes!

2. Tzin Wine and Tapas

Easily one of Edmonton’s most beloved restaurants, Tzin offers an intimate dining experience in a chic wine bar. The tapas menu is every changing and original, and the welcoming atmosphere only encourages sharing. We suggest you try the mushroom tart, chicken and grits and the delicious paella on offer.

3. Sorrentinos

Sorrentinos is a well-known group of restaurants scatted throughout Edmonton, known for serving delicious Italian cuisine with a contemporary twist. 5. Blue Plate Diner

6. Situation Brewing 

This is a must for craft-beers aficionados. Not only are all beers they serve brewed on-site, but you can take a look at the brewing room from a massive window outside. Then once you're in, you can relax at one of their long high-tables, comfortable couches in the corner, or at a formal table. You'll find it in the trendy Old Strathcona area. 

7. Uccelliono

Regarded by many to be the best Italian in Edmonton, Uccellino specialises in modern, but simple, Italian food. All ingredients used are either grown locally or imported from Italy - and the wine list of 100% Italian.

8. RGE RD 

If you want a taste of locally grown western Canadain cuisine, then there's nowhere better than RGE RD. All ingredients are sourced from farms and small-scale producers across Western Canada, and their menu reflects the season. Their extensive wine menu is also predominantly Canadian (with only a handful of international additions).
