What is an inspirational journey?
An inspirational journey means different things to different people. But, we tend to plan our trips around sites and experiences that will take your breath away. An inspirational journey is stumbling across a landscape with such incredible beauty it leaves you speechless. It’s watching the sun rise over the Rocky Mountains or glimpsing a mother bear play with her cubs in the wild. Whatever inspires you, you’ll find it here in Canada, and we create a journey that suits you. Whether it’s a luxury cruise, a self-drive expedition or wildlife tour, we’ve got it all covered.
Where will you take me?
You’ll find inspiration in every corner of Canada. You could explore the beauty of New England and tie it in with a trip to vibrant New York. You could discover the phenomenal power of Niagara Falls followed by a trip to the cultural melting pot of Toronto. And that’s just the east coast! Travel to the west to discover our tailor made Grizzly bear viewing trips on Vancouver Island. Of course, right in the heart of Canada is the very backbone of the country: the Canadian Rockies. The national parks here are home to some of the most inspirational sights on the planet. Not to mention some fine skiing and mountain trekking! Up north, you’ll find the snowy tundra of Alaska or see polar bears in Churchill. Every corner of Canada is buzzing with new experiences and wonder.
When is the best time to visit?
Canada oozes with inspiration all year round. In winter, you’ll wrap up warm and discover the snowy peaks in the Rockies. In the summer, our cities come alive with festivals and cultural celebrations. In part, it depends on what you want to experience. For example, grizzly bear viewing is best booked in Spring when they emerge from hibernation. If you want long, inspirational walks in the Rockies, it’s best to take a trip during the summer.
How will I see this beautiful country?
However you want. We offer a range of itineraries and travel options to suit everyone. For the freedom-loving explorers, we offer a self-drive experience. You can explore the country at your own pace, make stops wherever you want and fall in love slowly. You can stay in lodges and cabins along the way and get back to nature. For those who prefer a little more luxury, we can arrange business class flights, top hotels and luxury cruise options. Just reach out to one of our experts to find out more.
Why should I choose an inspirational holiday?
Because where else can you explore breath-taking scenery and watch bears and whales in their natural environment? Where else will you find exquisite peace and quiet than the Canadian Rockies? Canada is a destination that lives and breathes inspiration. You’ll get closer to nature, break from the monotony of real life and create memories that last forever.
With our help, you can explore Canada in a way that suits you. Find your inspiration in this magnificent country and create a journey you’ll never forget.

The service provided by Laura Robertson at Barrhead Travel Canada Specialists was of a very high degree. Even the change I made to the itinerary were no problem to her.
Hotels: Calgary airport Acclaim hotel was clean and very close to airport.
Caribou Lodge Banff; A high standard food excellent and room very comfortable, the "hot pool" was something else.
Sawridge Inn Jasper: Excellent, although a little out of town was fine for myself. The staff were very helpful and efficient. Food of a high standard.
Rocky Mountaineer: Onboard the staff are first class, helpful informative and cheerful. The train very comfortable although the AC required to be adjusted several times as it became quite cold.HotelFive540Forty, Kamloops comfortable. The second part of the rail journey was much more interesting than the first part. The Rockies are Majestic.
Airport hotel Fairmont Vancouver of a very high standard although the restaurant was disappointing.
The Cruise on NCL Jewel was excellent. Having sailed on the Jewel before I knew what to expect. The ship is very comfortable and clean, the entertainment of a very high standard and the choice of food in the buffet excellent. Shore Excursions: Ketchican, Saxford Native Village, interesting. Juneau: Mushers camp and sled dog ride very interesting although the puppies were very young and sleepy. Skagway: The best fo the three, The mini coach trip to the Yukon. An excellent and very informative driver/guide "Paul". and a very enjoyable trip. "Lunch" was at 10.45 but was very good.
All in all a very worthwhile experience.
