This itinerary is a nature enthusiast's dream: a cruise along the striking Alaskan coast combined with the excitement of spotting Grizzly Bears in the lush landscape of British Columbia.

Your journey to Alaska will take place on-board the Celebrity Eclipse. In between your port excursions, you will be treated to the laid-back luxury service that Celebrity Cruises in famed for. Upon arrival into Vancouver Airport, make your way independently to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Enjoy a morning at leisure soaking up any remaining sights in Vancouver before checking out of your hotel. Transfer to the cruise terminal where you will embark on your 7-night voyage onboard  Celebrity Eclipse.

Located between Vancouver and Ketchikan, Alaska's Inside Passage is home to some of the most breathtaking scenery on the face of the earth, and is one of the few sea-lanes where deep-draft vessels can sail close to steep mountain walls. Keep your eyes peeled as you travel past forests in a hundred shades of green, tumbling turquoise glaciers, and peaceful coastal towns loaded with history, culture and adventure.

Go whale watching, learn Tinglit tribal customs, buy traditional crafts, or fly high above Port Frederick on a 1.6km long zip-rider for panoramic views of this popular stop. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, tuck in to fresh halibut and chips on the cookhouse deck of historic Hoonah Packing Company cannery. The wildlife outnumbers the human population in Icy Strait point, so keep your eyes peeled for some of Alaska’s majestic creatures in their natural habitat.

The Hubbard Glacier is the largest calving glacier on the North American continent. The glacier routinely calves off icebergs as high as 10-story buildings, sending massive blocks of ice into the sea every few minutes. Watching the icebergs crash into the waves will be one of the most unforgettable moments of your trip - make sure you capture it on film so you can relive it time and time again.

Accessible only by water or air, Juneau is shrouded with a sense of mystery and is surprisingly full of small town charm. Once you arrive, Alaska's capital city will delight you with its bounty of water, forests, and mountains. View the majestic Mendenhall Glacier from the East Glacier Loop Trail, or sail 1,800ft via gondola to Mount Roberts, allowing you to take in panoramic views of Alaska's capital city. The fresh air is sure to whet your appetite so take some time to sample a local treat - crisp crab cakes.

Experience Eden firsthand with a stop in Ketchikan. Kayak tranquil saltwater fjords fringed by ancient forests, making sure you keep an eye out for black bear and playful porpoise. Tour the great outdoors by foot or bike, or whiz above ocean shores and never-ending forests by zipline. Ketchikan is nature's playground for anyone with a keen sense of adventure.

With most of Southeast Alaska accessible only by boat or plane, the Inside Passage is a 2,400km lifeline to the outside world and hums with activity all-day long. The landscape is ever-changing as you travel past forests, glaciers and vast mountain peaks. Keep a camera on-hand – these are memories you will want to treasure forever.

Wave goodbye to your Alaskan adventure as you disembark from your ship in Vancouver and make your way independently to your hotel. The remainder of the day is for you to enjoy at leisure. Overnight in Vancouver.

Today you will be transferred from your Campbell River hotel to the seaplane terminal for your scenic seaplane flight from Campbell River to Knight Inlet Lodge. You will fly over the remote islands and inlets of British Columbia’s wild coast, drinking in panoramic views throughout your journey. Floating in Glendale Cove, Knight Inlet Lodge is your home base for your wildlife adventure. Walk the dock and enjoy stunning scenery, meet visitors from around the world. Hear bald eagles whistling in the forest and see inquisitive river otters on the dock.

Today will be spent viewing the bears from the secure viewing platform at the lodge, or from sea kayaks as you drift quietly watch the Grizzlies up close and personal, witnessing these powerful creatures as the quietly forage amongst the sage growth in the protected waters of Glendale Cove.

Today you will take a seaplane back from Knight Inlet Lodge to Campbell River and then onward to Vancouver Airport.  Try and slot in another quick bear viewing or trail hiking excursion in before its time to leave the amazing place.

You are free today to explore this coastal city at leisure.  No trip to Vancouver would be complete without a visit to Stanley Park - its seawall, beaches, walking trails, totem poles, pool, miniature railway and more attract 8 million visitors each year. Later, indulge in fabulous shopping, have a coffee at the cities famous harbour or search for a bargain at the Granville Island Markets. You could also take a trip up Grouse Mountain for spectacular views over the city - on a clear day you can see as far as Seattle! Overnight in Vancouver.

This morning, check out of your Vancouver hotel and make your way to the airport for your return flight back to the UK.
