Your holiday begins with a few days in the Canadian Rockies. Banff and Jasper National Parks offer so much to see and do and we have allowed enough time to do just that . Wonderful wildlife and glacier fed lakes to explore. Visit Lake Louise as you transfer from Banff travelling north to Jasper.

Included in your itinerary is a beautiful rail journey through the Canadian Rockies from Jasper to Vancouver on the award-winning Rocky Mountaineer train. Your Holiday Itinerary

Upon arrival into Calgary Airport your coach transfer will take you to the beautiful mountain town of Banff. You journey will take approximately 90 mins as you travel along the Trans Canada Highway (150 km ) into Banff National Park. Overnight Banff.

Today you will have the entire day to spend exploring Banff National Park. There are so many great activities .Soak up the mineral pools at the Upper Hot Springs, enjoy a nature walk on the nearby mountain trails, visit Banff’s historic museums.

We highly recommend taking a trip on the Banff Gondola.

Experience a world of adventure and beauty at the summit of Banff’s Sulphur Mountain. Today you will take a scenic coach tour travelling north to Jasper. Your journey will take approximately 9 hours with a full day of adventure. You will make stops along the way at the stunning Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise , possibly one of the most photographs lakes in the world . Your tour also includes a stop at the Columbia Icefields where you will have admission to board the Ice Explorer and Glacier Skywalk.

You will arrive in Jasper early evening with time to relax and spend time exploring this picturesque mountain resort at your leisure. Overnight in Jasper.

Full day at your leisure to explore Jasper. Jasper National Park is a wonderland of dazzling glaciers, crystal-clear lakes, thundering waterfalls and evergreen forest, roaming wildlife, all surrounded by mountains. Venture out on your own or join a expertly guided tour and see the sights that Jasper has to offer. Our specialists will be able to recommend a selection of tours from Wildlife Viewing, Foodie Tours, Helicopter or boat tour. Overnight in Jasper.

Today you will leave Jasper in the Canadian Rockies  and travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer to the town of Kamloops , in the interior of British Columbia. As you travel on your journey west and south you will be surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide where the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia meet. River valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains are another highlight but todays main highlight has to be Mount Robson, Canadas highest peak and the beautiful  Pyramid Falls. Scenery changes as you climb over Yellowhead pass and journey along the North Thompson River

After a full day on the train, disembark in the charming town of Kamloops – the perfect place to take a soothing stroll along the riverside. Breakfast and lunch are served onboard  today and includes complimentary wines and a selection of local Canadian produce. You will be spoiled for choice with the selection of local produce If you are travelling in Goldleaf for breakfast we recommend the fabulous Eggs Benedict and for lunch the short ribs or salmon, menus can change but whatever you have we know you will enjoy the high standard of Rocky Mountaineers gourmet cuisine. This morning you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to Kamloops railway station . Today your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On your Rocky Mountaineer journey today you will see dramatic changes in the scenery and landscape. From the desert-like environment of the Interior of British Columbia through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade Mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hells Gate in the stunning Fraser Canyon. Your rail journey ends this evening on your arrival into Vancouver where a further adventure awaits!

Free time today to explore Vancouver . Using your Hop on Hop Off bus pass explore this beautiful city. The highlights of which include stops at Stanley Park at the Totem Poles and Queen Elizabeth park.  You will also travel by Chinatown, Gastown, Prospect Point and English Bay Beaches.  Overnight Vancouver.

Today you will check out your hotel and make your way to Vancouver Cruise terminal to join Eclipse ®  for your Alaska Cruise. Sailing out of Vancouver early evening under Lions Gate Bridge with views of the Coastal Mountains and beaches of Stanley Park is the perfect way to start your Alaskan adventure.

The dramatic scenery of the Inside Passage has been shaped by glaciers for millions of years. The terrain here is verdant and vivid – mysterious forests blanket the towering mountains.

Go whale watching, learn Tinglit tribal customs, buy arts-and-crafts gifts, or fly high above Port Frederick on a 1.6km long zip-rider. Later, tuck into the best ever halibut and chips on the cookhouse deck of historic Hoonah Packing Company cannery.

The glacier routinely calves off icebergs the size of ten-storey buildings.  Learn this and more as you spend part of your day in Disenchantment Bay in front of the Hubbard Glacier.

Arrive early in the morning at Alaska’s capital, Juneau.  Spend the day exploring. Option to Tour the Mendenhall Glacier and go whale watching and wildlife viewing.  Try the Alaskan seafood trifecta: salmon, halibut and crab.

Dock after lunch in Ketchikan.   Tour the area by foot, kayak, bike or try the zipline.  Seeing the sights is easy in Ketchikan. Even if you just stand in the middle of town and look out over the waterfront, you've already taken in more natural beauty than most people do in a month.

Kayak tranquil saltwater fjords fringed by ancient forests, keeping an eye out for black bear and playful porpoise. Tour the great outdoors by foot or bike, or whiz above ocean shores and never-ending forests by zipline

Another day cruising the Inside Passage – have your camera ready, you have a second chance to catch what you missed the first time.

Disembark and make your way to your downtown Vancouver hotel. This would be a great opportunity to use your Hop on Hop off pass so you can decide what you want to go back and see later.
