Upon arrival into Victoria, make your way independently to you downtown hotel where you will say for 2 nights.  Remainder of the day is at leisure.  Overnight: Victoria

Today you will take a coastal excursion which is an exhilarating round trip of 50 to 80 kilometres in search of Orcas, minke whales, grey whales, porpoises, harbour seals and other marine wildlife. You will ride aboard a comfortable covered vessel or a custom-built zodiac boat that offers high speed with extraordinary stability giving you an exhilarating, safe and intimate whale watching experience. Comments by a certified marine biologist and naturalist are provided. Remainder of the day is at leisure.  Overnight: Victoria

This morning check out of your Victoria hotel and transfer by Coach and Ferry to Vancouver. View the spectacular British Columbia coastline by ship and land. Board a BC Ferries vessel for a 90-minute sail through the serene beauty of the Gulf Islands. Marine wildlife sightings from the outdoor ship decks are common, especially eagles, sea lions and whales. Upon arrival into Tsawwassen Terminal your coach will proceed to your Vancouver downtown hotel where you will stay for 3 nights. Remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight: Vancouver

Over the next 2 days you can choose to relax or go out and about to discover Vancouver.  Make sure you visit all the wonderful highlights such as English Bay, Granville Island Market and its artisan shops. Why not take a trip on an Aquabus for a scenic tour.  Take a coffee break and savour a mug of your favourite brew at one of the hundreds of coffee shops scattered throughout the city.  Overnight: Vancouver

Today travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. On today’s journey you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser River valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade mountains, to the desert-like environment of the interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer travels along the shores of Kamloops Lake and into Kamloops. Overnight in Kamloops

Your journey continues north and east to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Once again you will be surrounded by dramatic scenery as you follow the banks of the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo mountains, climbing ever nearer to the high peaks of the Continental Divide. Today’s highlights include Mount Robson, at 3,954 metres (12,972 feet) the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Pyramid Falls, and the climb over the Yellowhead Pass into Jasper National Park. Your rail journey ends on arrival in the resort town of Jasper this evening. B, L.  Overnight: Jasper

Today you will collect your hire car and have an entire day to spend exploring Jasper National Park on your own. A wealth of optional activities (not included) abound: taking the Jasper Skytram to the high alpine of Whistlers Mountain, enjoying a nature walk on nearby mountain trails, cruising on Maligne Lake to Spirit Island, or playing a round of golf at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. Overnight in Jasper.

Leave the mountain town of Jasper behind and head south along the world-famous Icefield Parkway to Banff one of the most scenic highways in the world.  Among the highlights along the way are Bow Lake, the Columbia Icefield, Glacier Skywalk and Athabasca Falls. The Columbia Icefield is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle and one of the most accessible icefields in North America. Here you stop and take a ride on an Ice Explorer to the middle of the Athabasca Glacier to learn more about its geological features.  Overnight: Banff

Today is free to explore more of this beautiful town.  Why not take a trip on the Banff Gondola (not included) for a 360-degree view of six mountain ranges that surround the town?  You will feel like you’re at the top of the word when you stand on the main observation deck.  You may want to take the Banff Skywalk which is a self –guided interpretive walk.  Or perhaps go inside to sample from two delicious restaurant menus. Check out of your Banff Hotel and head south along Highway 1 to Canmore and the Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary.  During your visit to the Wolfdog Sanctuary you will gain a better understanding about wild wolves and their importance in the natural environment while also seeing first hand wolf behaviour through the wolfdogs at the sanctuary. You will have plenty of photo opportunities and ample time to speak with the sanctuary guardian who will answer all your questions.

After your wolfdog experience head south again towards the city of Calgary and your downtown hotel where you will stay for 2 nights.  Overnight: Calgary

Spend the day sightseeing in “The Heart of the New West” take a ride on the Calgary Tower. Standing at over 190 metres tall, no visit to Calgary is complete without taking in the panoramic views from the top. This viewing platform has defined the city skyline for over 40 years, and it is here that you will take in the best views of both the metropolis and the mountains of Alberta that surround it. If you’re feeling particularly brave, take a step onto the glass floor with a 360-degree view with a difference!  Or visit the Calgary Zoo and experience black and white magic with the pandas! In 2018, the Calgary Zoo welcomes four giant pandas, your exclusive opportunity to see these precious animals.  Overnight: Calgary

Today check out of you Calgary Hotel and make your way to the Airport where you will return your hire car before boarding your flight back to the UK.
