Day 1 - Fly UK to Calgary

Upon arrival into Calgary Airport, transfer by scheduled coach to Banff and your overnight hotel.  Remainder of the day is at leisure.  Overnight: Banff

Day 2 - Banff

Today is at leisure for you to make your own exploration of Banff. Outside of town, the dramatic Canadian scenery awaits you. Check out the Cave and Basin National Historic Site, or why not go for a soak in the famous therapeutic spring waters of the Upper Hot Springs? Overnight: Banff

Day 4 - Icefield Parkway Tour Banff to Jasper

Discover Canada’s most scenic mountain roadway; The Icefields Parkway. This is the route to over one hundred visible glaciers, turquoise lakes, and rushing waterfalls. Venture onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier in a specially designed Ice Explorer for a spectacular Ice Age adventure. Experience Jasper National Park’s newest attraction, the Glacier Skywalk. Step out onto a glass-floored observation platform extending 30 metres out over the Sunwapta Valley for an unobstructed view of the surrounding glaciers.

Day 5 - Jasper

Enjoy a day at leisure to explore Jasper. Fascinating in beauty and history, Jasper is set amid some of the most rugged peaks in the Rockies. You may wish to take a tram ride up Whistler's Mountain, soak in the pools at Miette Hot Springs (among the Rockies' warmest natural hot springs) or visit Maligne Lake, one of the most photographed lakes in the world and enjoy a 90-minute cruise heading toward the south end of this postcard setting (suggested activities are not included). Marvel at the magnificent shoreline with dense forest and glacial peaks rising abruptly from the water's edge. Overnight: Jasper

Day 6 - Rocky Mountaineer Rail Journey Jasper to Kamloops

Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper in the Canadian Rockies to Kamloops, in the heart of the British Columbia Interior. As you journey west and south you will be surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and by the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains. Today’s highlights include Mount Robson, Pyramid Falls, the climb over Yellowhead Pass, and the journey along the North Thompson River as you approach Kamloops. Overnight in Kamloops.

Day 7 - Rocky Mountaineer Rail Journey Kamloops to Vancouver

Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On today’s journey you will again see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the Interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade Mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your rail journey ends on arrival in Vancouver this evening. Overnight in Vancouver.

Day 8 - Vancouver

You are free today to explore the city at leisure. No trip to Vancouver would be complete without a visit to Stanley Park. Situated between English Bay and Burrard Inlet, the peninsula at the north-western edge of down-town Vancouver, Stanley Park covers 1,000 acres. Its seawall, beaches, walking trails, totem poles, aquarium, pool, miniature railway and more attract 8 million visitors each year. Why not hop on one of the horse drawn tours that make its way around the park? Overnight: Vancouver

Full day free to explore this wonderful vibrant city. Why not take the time and check out Grouse Mountain or do something really different and visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge and take in the new breathtaking Capilano Cliffwalk. Day 10 - Vancouver to Seattle onboard Amtrak

From Vancouver, British Columbia to Seattle, Portland and Eugene, Oregon, past Mount St. Helens and across the Columbia River Gorge, you'll witness some of our continent's most distinctive cities and most spectacular natural attractions.

Ketchikan clutches the shores of the Tongrass Narrows, with many shops and houses built right out over the water. The stairways are weathered and the vibe is cheerful in the town that calls itself the Salmon Capital of the World. Besides the main attractions - Creek Street, the Tongrass Historical Museum, Totem Bight State Park and Saxman Village. These deep-water fjords were gouged out by retreating glaciers, leaving granite cliffs towering thousands of feet above the sea and countless waterfalls plunging into placid waters.

Murano Restaurant - Classic design and world-class cuisine come together at timeless Murano. Dine on modern French continental cuisine prepared for you tableside and explore the extensive French and American wine list. 

Day 17 - Victoria

The capital of British Columbia is also its largest island. Victoria is a seaside enclave that enjoys a temperate climate. Which is great, because you'll want to explore all the museums, parks and golf courses Victoria has to offer.

Day 18 - Disembark Seattle

Smell the coffee in Pike Place Market where it all began for Starbucks, then see it from far above at the 520ft Space Needle. A magnet for art and culture lovers of all stripes and an outdoor wonderland for adventurers - the Emerald City has it all.

Day 19 - Seattle

The iconic city of Seattle is a true joy to explore and on an exciting harbour cruise you’ll have the chance to see the city from a unique perspective. Seattle is brimming with great cultural experiences and famous landmarks to experience, including the majestic Space Needle, which offers amazing views for all those who climb to the top. Whilst here you will enjoy an included harbour cruise to take in the views of this amazing city from a unique vantage point.

Day 20 - Fly Seattle to the UK

Transfer to the airport for your direct flight back to the UK.
