The dramatic scenery of the Inside Passage has been shaped by glaciers for millions of years. The terrain here is verdant and vivid – mysterious forests blanket the towering mountains.
Go whale watching, learn Tinglit tribal customs, buy arts-and-crafts gifts, or fly high above Port Frederick on a 1.6km long zip-rider. Later, tuck into the best ever halibut and chips on the cookhouse deck of historic Hoonah Packing Company cannery.
Hubbard Glacier is the largest calving glacier on the North American continent. The glacier routinely calves off icebergs as high as 10-story buildings, sending massive blocks of ice into the sea every few minutes.
Some sightseeing is best from above. View the majestic Mendenhall Glacier from the East Glacier Loop Trail, or sail 1,800ft aloft via gondola to Mount Roberts. The fresh air’s sure to whet your appetite so try out the local treat - crisp crab cakes.
Experience Eden firsthand. Kayak tranquil saltwater fjords fringed by ancient forests, keeping an eye out for black bear and playful porpoise. Tour the great outdoors by foot or bike, or whiz above ocean shores and never-ending forests by zipline
You'll sail beyond the Inside Passage into the more protected Alaska Inside Passage, a complex labyrinth of fjords and bays where whales and sea lions find refuge during the summer months.
Make your way (independently) to your overnight hotel. Remainder of the day is at leisure.

Travel through the fertile fields of the Fraser Valley to the towering peaks of the Coast Mountains before the rumble of raging waters at Hell’s Gate. Piney forests turn into the abstract beauty of dusty desert hills as you pull in to spend the night in Kamloops.
Continue your journey through a changing landscape. Rolling hills become snowy peaks as you make your way along the North Thompson River. Mount Robson marks the entry into the World Heritage Site of Jasper.
Full day at leisure.
Venture onto the Athabasca Glacier on an Ice Explorer, and experience the Glacier Skywalk.
Why not take a ride on the Banff Gondola (not included) for a spectacular view from the top of Sulphur Mountain.
