Start the day with a sightseeing tour of Toronto and discover the many cultures of Canada’s most cosmopolitan city. Then, travel to the splendour of Niagara Falls through the lush fruit-growing district of the Niagara Peninsula and historic village of Niagara on the Lake. Departing early, enjoy a pleasant drive east. Following the north shore of Lake Ontario, you will pass endless miles of rolling farmland and the small townships of eastern Ontario, and French colonial legacy of the many small communities is evident. You arrive in the stunning rock-faced, riverside town of Montebello. Overnight: In Montebello
After breakfast, embark on a day trip to Canada’s national Capital of Ottawa. The towering Neo-gothic spires of Parliament are reflected in the wide canals that wind through the centre of the city. You will also visit Omega Park on the way back to Montebello, a wildlife preserve that is home to some of Canada’s most unique animals. Overnight: Montebello
This morning you depart Montebello for Saint-Alexis-Des-Monts as you travel farther up the St. Lawrence Seaway before turning north outside Montreal and continuing into the Quebec heartland. Before long, you will arrive at Hotel Sacacomie, nestled in the Laurentian Mountains. Overnight: Saint-Alexis-de-Monts.

Depart for historic Quebec City after breakfast, making a stop at Canyon St. Anne. The canyon boasts the 74m high Saint-Anne waterfall, its rushing waters rumbling into a 1.2 billion year old rock cauldron at its base. The canyon features the highest pedestrian bridge in Quebec, measuring an incredible height of 55m. In the afternoon you will arrive at Quebec City for a tow night stay. Overnight: Quebec City
Today you will go on a fascinating sightseeing tour of the old and modern sections of Quebec. As North America’s oldest fortified city, this tour offers a unique glimpse back into Canada’s turbulent colonial past. You will tour within the walls of the old city and view Lower Town, the Citadel, Battlefields Park and the ornate city gates. You will also take a tour to the Traditional Huron Site to discover the history and culture of the Huron people of the past and of today in an authentic recreation of a Quebec Indian village. Today’s scenic drive takes you through the fertile plains and rolling hills of the Mauricie/Bois-Francs and Lanaudiere regions en route to the forests and unspoiled scenery of Lac a la Truite. In the afternoon you will arrive at Montreal. Overnight: Montreal
Montreal is one of the art and culture centres of Canada, boating a long and coloured history that celebrates both its British and French heritage. On a city tour, you will see Notre-Dame Basilica, Old Montreal, the Olympic site, the Biodrome and Mount Royal Park. Overnight: Montreal
