Search for the Great Spirit Bear
The Great Bear Rainforest of British Columbia is the largest piece of intact temperate rainforest left on the planet. Located 150 nautical miles by float plane north of Port Hardy and the northern tip of Vancouver Island, Klemtu is truly in the heart of the rainforest. Not only that, Klemtu is home to unparalleled access to some of the best grizzly and Spirit Bear viewing in the region. The atmosphere of the lodge is modern and relaxing, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. After a day of Spirit Bear viewing, share stories with fellow guests in “The Great Room” gazing out at the Pacific Ocean waters for a glimpse of the passing Orcas, White Sided Dolphins and Sea Lions. This is a wildlife-watching adventure you will never forget.
