DAY 1 : UK - Vancouver.

Fly to Vancouver and transfer to your hotel. This evening meet your travelling companions and Tour Director for a welcome drink.

DAY 2 : Vancouver.

This morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Vancouver, including the waterfront, Chinatown and Stanley Park with it's old growth evergreen forests and totem poles. The rest of the day is at leisure. Includes Breakfast

DAY 3 : Vancouver - Rocky Mountaineer - Kamloops.

At Vancouver's Rocky Mountaineer Station board the world famous Rocky Mountaineer Train. Follow the Fraser Canyon and the Thompson River through beautiful landscapes to historic Kamloops. NOTE: Kamloops properties are considered moderate 2 or 3 star hotels or motor inns. The city does not offer any hotels in the superior category. The chosen hotel is determined by Rocky Mountaineer Railtours. Plan to carry a small carry on bag with mecessities for the train portion of the tour, including medication, glasses etc. Your luggage will be available to you in Kamloops. Includes Breakfast, Lunch

DAY 4 : Kamloops - Rocky Mountaineer - Banff.

Continue the Rocky Mountaineer experience eastward to Shuswap Lake with it's many miles of shoreline. Follow the Kicking Horse River and pass over the Continental Divide into Banff National Park. Includes Breakfast, Lunch

DAY 5 : Banff.

This morning, tour the highlights of Banff; Bow Falls, Tunnel Mountain and Surprise Corner. There is a choice of activities this afternoon between a nature walk with a picnic lunch or afternoon tea at the Banff Springs Hotel. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 6 : Banff - Lake Louise.

En route to Lake Louise, a side trip showcases one of the crown jewels of the Rockies - Moraine Lake and the Valley of the Ten Peaks. Here 10 mountain peaks soar above 10,000 ft and surround the tranquil water of the lake. Later, arrive at enchanting Lake Louise. The rest of the is at leisure to explore the natural beauty and serenity of the area. Includes Breakfast, Dinner

DAY 7 : Lake Louise - Columbia Icefield - Jasper.

Today, travel on awe inspiring Icefields Parkway past towering peaks and immense hanging glaciers to Jasper National Park. Ride an exciting Ice Explorer on the 1,000ft thick Athabasca Glacier and see thundering Athabasca Falls. Overnight in charming Jasper. Includes Breakfast, Dinner

DAY 8 : Jasper - Sun Peaks.

Leave Jasper and admire the scenery on the Yellowhead Highway along the Fraser and Thompson Rivers. This is the same rtoue followed by the early fur brigades of the Hudson's Bay Company as they paddled fully laden canoes to the Pacific Coast. Also pass Mount Robson, at 12.972 ft it is the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Includes Breakfast

DAY 9 : Sun Peaks - Whistler.

This morning, travel past some of the most beautiful and rugged lakes and mountains in British Columbia. This afternoon, arrive in Whistler, one of the Canada's newest and most exciting mountain resorts, and host of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Includes Breakfast

DAY 10 : Whistler - Victoria.

This morning, enjoy a visit and private breakfast at the Squamish Lil'Wat Cultural Centre, dedicated to the history and culture of the First Nations peoples. Afterwards, board the BC Ferry to Victoria on a picturesque cruise to Vancouver Island. The charming, very British 'Garden City' of Victoria offers Parliament buildings, museums and they can be seen on a city highlights tour. The rest of the day is at leisure. Includes Breakfast

DAY 11 : Victoria.

Today, choose your activity between a traditional afternoon tea and the grand Fairmont Empress hotel or for the more adventurous a whale watching excursion from Victoria's Inner Harbour. This afternoon, visit the world famous Butchart Gardens. The estate offers more than 700 varities of flowers on 55 acres and includes Italian, Japanese and English style gardens. Later the Tour Director hosts a farewell dinner in the original Butchart family residence. Includes Breakfast, Dinner

DAY 12 : Victoria - Vancouver.

This morning travel via BC Ferry through the Gulf Islands back to the British Columbia mainland and transfer to Vancouver Cruise Port to embark MS Volendam for your seven night Alaska cruise. Includes Breakfast, Dinner

DAY 13 : Inside Passage Cruising.

The beauty of the Inside Passage will amaze you as you cruise past 1,000 miles of epic scenery, towering glaciated mountains, roaring waterfalls, endless islands and virgin forests. There is also plenty of animal and marine life to look out for: sea lions, eagles and porpoises. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 14 : Juneau.

An afternoon arrival in Juneau, Alaska's capital. The city has a gold rush story to rival that of Klondike, and is only accessible by seaplane or boat. An optional wildlife cruise and salmon fishing will normally be available, and you'll also have the opportunity to take an optional excursion to Juneau's own glacier, Mendenhall. This impressive river of blue ice is about 1.5 miles wide and over 12 miles long. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 15 : Skagway.

Morning arrival in Skagway, Alaska's gateway to the Klondike Gold Rush in Canada's Yukon. Skagway was the turbulent staging point for prospectors and still has old-fashioned weathered boardwalks and old-time saloons. Optional sightseeing includes a ride in a vintage parlour car to see the White Pass and Yukon route. The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore some more, before setting sail again late this evening. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 16 : Glacier Bay.

Cruise into spectacular Glacier Bay early this morning, where forests give way to a rugged landscape rising to rocky peaks. Sixteen huge mountains converge to create an awe-inspiring panoramic wonder, a dramatic scene of awesome glaciers and massive icebergs. Wildlife is abundant, and you may spot eagles, seals, mountain goats, moose and bears in their natural habitat. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 17 : Ketchikan.

A morning arrival in colourful Ketchikan, situated on Revillagigedo Island and known as the 'salmon capital of the world'. Here, a picturesque harbour shelters fishing boats and seaplanes. A wide choice of optional excursions will be available, including an outing to see Indian Heritage Villages and Totem Bight State Park. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 18 : At sea.

Continue cruising south along British Columbia's spectacular coastline. Animal and marine life are abundant in this area and with a little luck you may spot a pod of mighty, yet graceful killer whales. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 19 : Vancouver - UK.

After breakfast, disembark your ship and transfer to the airport for your flight to the UK. Includes Breakfast
