Itinerary

Upon arrival in Vancouver make your way independently to your hotel.  Spend the remainder of your day exploring the neighbourhood.

Make your way to the Vancouver port to embark on your Alaska Cruise onboard Celebrity Eclipse ®

Spend the day sailing the Inside Passage, a region of pristine water, snow-capped mountains, deep fjords and forested islands.

Dock in the afternoon at Icy Straight Point.  Here you will find more brown bears than humans!  Enjoy the Hoonah, Alaska’s largest Native Tlingit Village and check out the world’s largest Ziprider.

The glacier routinely calves off icebergs the size of ten-storey buildings.  Learn that and more as you spend part of your day in Disenchantment Bay in front of the Hubbard Glacier.

Arrive early in the morning at Alaska’s capital, Juneau.  Spend the day out and about. Tour the Mendenhall Glacier and go whale watching and wildlife viewing.  Try the Alaskan seafood trifecta: salmon, halibut and crab.

Dock after lunch in Ketchikan.   Tour the area by foot, kayak, bike or try the zipline.  Seeing the sights is easy in Ketchikan. Even if you just stand in the middle of town and look out over the waterfront, you've already taken in more natural beauty than most people do in a month

Another day cruising the Inside Passage – get your camera out, you have a second chance to catch what you missed the first time.

Disembark and make your way to your downtown Vancouver hotel. This would be a great opportunity to use your Hop on Hop off pass so you can decide what you want to go back and see later.

Fly to Campbell River to begin your visit to this northern nature-lovers paradise.  You will spend your first night here.  Transfer the next day by floatplane to Knight Inlet Lodge.  This pristine wilderness is the native habitat of the Grizzly Bear.  During this visit you will enjoy all meals and snacks as well as - a bear viewing tour, a scenic boat ride of Glendale Cove, Knight Inlet sightseeing cruise, use of kayaks and an interpretive guide.

Return to Vancouver for two nights with time to explore this beautiful city by making use of your Hop on Hop off tour.  We recommend stops at Granville Island, Stanley Park and Chinatown.  You will have a chance to sample some of the local wines from the Okanagan Valley and you may wish to sample one of many great Vancouver restaurants.

Time to say goodbye to Canada and Alaska and fly back home with a camera full of photos, some incredible experiences and many, many wonderful memories.
