Upon your arrival into Calgary, a transfer will be arranged to take you from Calgary International Airport to Banff for your 2 night stay. Once you arrive into Banff, the remainder of the day is free for you to explore the area at your own pace. Overnight in Banff
Today is at leisure for you to make your own exploration of Banff. Outside of town, the dramatic Canadian scenery awaits you. Check out the Cave and Basin National Historic Site, or why not go for a soak in the famous therapeutic spring waters of the Upper Hot Springs? Overnight: Banff
Travel through Banff and Jasper National Parks on a luxury motorcoach. Journey from Vermilion Lakes to the "Jewel of the Canadian Rockies" Lake Louise. Here you will see the famous Victoria Glacier where the rock flour turns the lake emerald green. Then shadow the Great Divide exploring the natural viewpoints of Crowfoot Glacier and Peyto Lake. Continue alongside the Mistaya River to the Big Hill and the Columbia Icefield. At the Columbia Icefield ride on an all-terrain Ice Explorer and sip on the fresh waters of a glacier. Continue on through the Sunwapta Valley and take a stroll at Athabasca Falls before a late afternoon arrival at Jasper. Your hotel, the Chateau Jasper is in an ideal location, just a short ten minute stroll from the town centre. Enjoy a day at leisure to explore Jasper. Fascinating in beauty and history, Jasper is set amid some of the most rugged peaks in the Rockies. You may wish to take a tram ride up Whistler's Mountain, soak in the pools at Miette Hot Springs (among the Rockies' warmest natural hot springs) or visit Maligne Lake, one of the most photographed lakes in the world and enjoy a 90-minute cruise heading toward the south end of this postcard setting (suggested activities are not included). Marvel at the magnificent shoreline with dense forest and glacial peaks rising abruptly from the water's edge. Overnight: Jasper
Travel on board the Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper to Kamloops. You will be surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and by the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo mountains. Highlights include Mount Robson, Pyramid Falls, Yellowhead Pass and the journey along the North Thompson River. Overnight: Kamloops
Your journey continues west towards the coastal city of Vancouver. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Arrive Vancouver in the Evening. Overnight: Vancouver
You are free today to explore the city at leisure. No trip to Vancouver would be complete without a visit to Stanley Park. Situated between English Bay and Burrard Inlet, the peninsula at the north-western edge of down-town Vancouver, Stanley Park covers 1,000 acres. Its seawall, beaches, walking trails, totem poles, aquarium, pool, miniature railway and more attract 8 million visitors each year.
